Story

When the player visits Beryl’s Beastieball Center, they find no Ranked Coach. Instead, they find a lone Punkchirp named Bilba, who seems like they want to play Beastieball. The player can go and find Riven looking off at the sea, on a bench behind the Gym. When the player asks if she’s a Beastieball coach, she is startled, but does confirm that she’s the coach of Beryl. She would prefer to write rather than playing a Ranked Match, but her Beasties find her, and insist that she play a game.

During her match with the player, Riven is reminded how fun Beastieball can be, and her match with them gives her new inspiration for her story. Afterwards, she gives the player her number, saying their meeting was an act of destiny, and that she would like to talk to them again.

Hangouts

Riven offers to hang out with the player at the same spot they originally found her. She discusses with them their places of origin, Beryl and Rutile. She asks the player if they’re fond of their hometown, and says that she’s always had an admiration for Geo City, compared to the less glamorous locations of Amberstone. She then says she’s being a bit dramatic, however, and would like to return to her writing. She thanks the player for coming out to spend time with her. After this, the player’s bond with Riven raises to level 2, and she unlocks her first set of favors.
