Miconia Grove
Miconia Grove is a place in Mythwood.
Description
Miconia Grove is adjacent to the town of Begonia and is home to a fungal colony of white mushrooms. The colony extends throughout the grove but is concentrated at the north-most area, where the mushrooms have grown large and secrete a black liquid. This concentrated spot is where the player may bring Sprecko so it may become Illugus
The Grove is made up of 2 areas on the map.

Story
The player may find the entrance to the grove blocked off by a barrier and a "DANGER!" sign which reads, "Danger. Area is under BRS investigation for unusual Beastie activity. Do not enter." The barrier is easily crossed by jumping, however, and the player meets Reese and Celia inside.
Celia is unhappy to see the player, pointing out that the sign said not to enter. Despite this, they seem interested in the player's status as a ranked coach and allow them to follow the pair further in.
At the heart of the grove is a fungal colony and an Illugus which has gone Rowdy. The player must fully deplete the Beastie's stamina, which starts at 300, before it can score three points against them. After defeating it, the Illugus will be calmed down and return to normal.

- The fungal colony present at the heart of the grove is likely based on the shaggy ink cap.
