Combo move

Combo moves are special actions that can be performed by Beasties with a bond. The effects vary based on what species the two Beasties are, and what relationship they have.

Effects

Combo moves combine the given effects of both Beasties (specific to their species and the type of bond). They do not change when a Beastie metamorphs. There are no differences in effects between Support combos for Besties and combos for Sweethearts.

Besties can have either a Support or Defense combo, usually with different effects, as seen below. It’s unclear how the type of combo is determined. Only Besties with a Support combo can develop their relationship into Sweethearts.

The default Power for Rivals attack combos is 100, but many Beasties have damage modifiers that increase or decrease it. If both bonded Beasties have damage modifiers, they will multiply each other.

The typing (Body, Mind, or Spirit) of Rivals attacks seems to be determined by the highest POW stat of the two bonded Beasties when their stats are combined.
