Platypulse is a Beastie. They metamorph from Platenna starting at level 19.
They have an Extinct form, Pladion, which they can achieve by having their 
Body, 
Spirit, and 
Mind DEFs all boosted +5 or more, and receiving 3+ attacks.

Trivia
- Platypulse's internal name is "platypus2".
- Platypulse is the only "final" form of a Beastie in the game to have a number appended to its internal name. In addition, Pladion's internal name is simply "platypus", which does not follow the pattern of every other Extinct Beastie's internal names. This may imply that Pladion was originally intended as a standard metamorph of Platypulse, rather than an Extinct form.
