Beastiepedia:To Do List

We have a lot of work to do, folks! These great big tables should have all of the pages that need to be created and/or updated now that we're into Early Access.

If you're looking to contribute to the wiki, we're very happy to have you! Check out our thread in the Wishes Unlimited Discord to talk shop about what you want to work on and coordinate with other editors.

Beasties

Task	Page Links	What they need
Beastie Locations	All Beastie pages	We should have information on all the places a given Beastie spawns on their pages. With that said, it's all by screen and screens don't have specific names most of the time, so we need to figure out how we're communicating that information. Worst case we could just screenshot the in-game maps.
Combo Plays	All Beastie Pages	We need to decide how we're doing these. Doing a "calculator" like the Tome has would be pretty cool but would take some Scribunto finangling to make work. Worst case we just do a simple table of what each Beastie's contribution to a each type of combo play is, like we currently have on some of the Starter Beasties' pages.
Beastie page extras	All Beastie pages	Credits for Artist and Designer (as well as probably page categories for those), voice clips, animation/sprite gallery/viewer, origins and etymology. This stuff is all lower priority than the other stuff but should be a long term goal.

Game Mechanics

Teams	Coach and guardian team pages	We have a JSON file with all of the team info. Trouble is we need to A. compile that and B. figure out how team scaling works, and that one might be a bit of a tall order. Check the Discord for updates and info about what we know about team scaling.
Field Effects	Rally (Field Effect), Trap, Rhythm, Dread	Some info on what each of these Field Effects does, maybe some info on what they look like visually as well. Also we should maybe rename Rally to "Rally (Play)"
Missing Items	TBD	There's definitely some items that we don't have pages for yet, we'll have to compile a list of those.
List of Plays	List of Plays	Similar to the List of Beasties, just a list of every play in the game. Honestly this could just be a PlayList with everything on it which would be pretty simple.
Updated Favors	All relevant Play pages	I'll need to look through the full list to learn what needs added here but there's a bunch of new favors available now.
Game modes and minigames	Ironman mode, Randomizer mode, Tower challenge, Draft challenge, Expeditions, Random damage mode, Tennis mode, Captains mode, Hype meter	Making pages for all of these. Expeditions might want multiple pages if we're planning on writing down every possible enemy (I'll be real I don't know the specifics of how Expeditions work).
Guardian teams	Guardian team, List of guardian teams in Amberstone, List of guardian teams in Mythwood, List of guardian teams in Chroma Sea, List of guardian teams in Geo City, List of guardian teams in Alto Alps	We have a good system right now for NPC Coach teams, but we haven't been archiving all of the other guardian teams. Also a page for guardians as a concept. (Also what's the deal with that one Fetcham boss? That guy should probably get his own page).
Rowdy Beasties	Rowdy, List of Rowdy Beasties	A page for Rowdy as a concept and a page that shows the sets and data for all the individual Rowdy bosses.
Misc game mechanics	Fired Up, Training, Rank, Easy receive, Recessive trait, Yearning, Injury, Raremorph, Stamina, Action, Serve, Move, Social battery, Extinct beasties	Pages for all of these.

Note: rn some of the team pages are here bc we put this template on them as a note to research other team comps, that's something we have another way to do now so don't worry about that for this task.

Story

Missing Locations	Quartz Canyon, Periwinkle Islet, Neptune Stadium, Chartreuse, Cerise Atoll, Gamboge, Coquelicot Beach, Ebernean Cavern, Tawny Wilds, Crown Stadium, Mainframe, Rollback Loop, Domain Park, Thousand Views, Wayback Rail Trail, Garcinia Meadow, Solanum Weald, Cordia Lake, Attalea Path, Beastieball Academy	All of these should have descriptions, links, and Beasties that spawn there. We should figure out something for a Map that shows where these are? Maybe ask jdavis how she did it on the tome and see if we can get the same thing going here.
Regions	Amberstone, Mythwood, Geo City, Chroma Sea, Alto Alps	These should have a list of all locations in them, links to their relevant NPC pages, and any other info/trivia. Most of these pages exist but need heavily overhauled.
NPC Lists	List of minor characters in Mythwood, List of minor characters in Chroma Sea, List of minor characters in Geo City	I don't think there's any new Amberstone NPCs, but all the rest of these pages all either need new characters added, need descriptions added that we missed, or both. I don't think there's any NPCs in the Alto Alps that don't already have their own pages, but if there are then I guess that can get a page too.
New coaches	Marcy, Elena, Dominic, Callisto	All these folks need pages, and all of their teams.
Updated coach pages	Reese, Marlin, Kaz, Riven, Sunsoo, Celia, Jack	Need all their additional Teams and info from their later Hangouts and story appearances.
Move team pages into their corresponding coaches	The Rutile All-stars, The Raging Blazes, The Mythic Dreamers, The Wild Flowers, The Golden Gods, The Mega Beasts	We decided that all of these pages need their info moved to the Coach's page, then have their pages turned into redirects.
Those two other games	Legend of Office, Basketjam	leave legend of office to wybie they've earned it

Misc

Recurring locations	Gym, Clothing store, Railhouse, Zip station, Beastieball center, Rail lever, Mushroom colony	Making these pages. Staying Power Fitness already has a page of its own for it as a sponsor, I think they should probably be separate pages but I could be persuaded.
Missing categories	Category:Sideways Attacks	There's definitely more for the record but this is the only one that comes to mind rn
Update sponsors	Rutile Town Board, Beastie Research Society	The BRS page already exists but needs updated for the Platinum sponsorship stuff. Rutile just needs made.
Misc worldbuilding pages	Ball shroom, Beastieball (Sport)	Some pages to house worldbuilding info about these topics, and also about how Ball shrooms are used in-game. I reckon the Ball dispensers from Geo City can go in the same page under a header.
The playtest invitational	Beastieball Playtest Showdown	I'd love for the wiki to be able to serve as a resource for tournament history and stuff too, so I think this would be an awesome inclusion. If we can get this page made before the next tournament happens, then it should be fairly easy to keep on top of stuff as it happens (Relatively, at least).
